What It’s Like to Work With Kelly Masonry
Estate and venue clients choose us because we:
Communicate clearly and set realistic expectations
Respect the property, staff, and guests
Keep job sites orderly and professional
Follow through on schedules and commitments
Our goal is not just to complete a project—but to become a long-term masonry partner you can rely on year after year.

What Makes Estate & Venue Masonry Different?
Estate and venue projects are not the same as typical residential work. These properties often involve:
Historic or custom materials
High-visibility areas used by guests and staff
Tight windows between event seasons
Long-term maintenance planning rather than one-time repairs
Our role is to help clients understand what work is needed, why it matters, and how it can be done with minimal disruption—before a single stone is touched.
Common Questions Estate Managers Ask
How do you work around active events and seasonal schedules?
We plan work in phases and coordinate closely with property teams to avoid interference with events, tours, and peak seasons. When necessary, we focus on off-hours or off-season windows to complete work efficiently and discreetly.
Can you match historic brick, stone, and mortar?
Yes. We specialize in color-matching and material compatibility to ensure repairs blend seamlessly with existing structures and age naturally over time.
Will repairs last, or will we be revisiting this in a few years?
Longevity is a priority. We focus on proper preparation, correct materials, and proven installation methods so repairs perform for the long term—not just cosmetically.
Can you help us plan ongoing maintenance?
Absolutely. Many estate clients prefer a proactive approach. We help identify priority areas and develop a realistic maintenance plan that spreads work over time and avoids emergency repairs.
Happy Clients Recommend Us
We’d love a chance to exceed your expectations!

Our project involved the creation of several new flower beds, a new front patio and front steps as well as a side patio for a hot tub. We needed this all done on time as we were hosting our wedding at the house.
John Kelly was fantastic from the very beginning. He walked us through various options, coordinated with the landscaper and architect, was always responsive and delivered everything on time with the upmost professionalism and attention to quality and detail.
We’ll never use any one else.
Thank you to John, and the whole Kelly Masonry team!

The crew was efficient and, as you can see from the pictures, we couldn't be more happy with the work. Below is a list of the work John and his team completed in the quoted time, even though the weather didn't cooperate.
- Tore down, extended and rebuilt stone retaining wall to the right of front door.
- Removed old walkway and replaced with a paver patio while adding additional stone to the bottom front of the house for grading purposes
- Installed a trench drain and tied into three downspouts and ran under pavers, out to a pop-up drain in the front yard.
- Ran a conduit pipe from electrical box to garage
- Removed concrete slab by garage door, and ran pavers the full length from the garage door past our side entrance.
- Installed a stone block retaining wall on the side of the house (this was not discussed in the initial plans, John and crew was able to add to workload mid-project).
Very accommodating, professional and the lines of communication are second to none. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!
